Piston and Cylinder: The piston moves up and down within the cylinder, controlling the flow of oil through oil holes in the piston, thereby achieving the shock absorption effect. The cylinder is typically made of high-strength steel to withstand high pressure and friction.

 

Piston Rod: Connects the piston to the external structure and transmits the shock absorption force. The piston rod needs to be strong and corrosion-resistant and is typically made of chrome-plated steel.

 

Seals: Prevent oil leakage and ensure stable pressure within the shock absorber. The quality of the seals directly impacts the lifespan and performance of the shock absorber.

 

Guide: Guides the linear motion of the piston rod, preventing deflection and wear. Guides are typically made of low-friction materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene.

 

‌Spring‌: In some shock absorbers, springs are used to provide additional damping force, especially during the compression and rebound phases.
